Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Officially, the time points for OASIS data collection are defined by OASIS guidance and the Conditions of Participation, but PDGM and PHE (Public Health Emergency) waivers have important considerations that impact payment, compliance and quality measures.  This session answers your questions about OASIS type and timing for unplanned discharges, whether to do Transfer RFA 6 or 7, single visit in a quality episode, best to do a SOC or ROC after inpatient stay, when to do an Other Follow-up, and more.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Identify one consideration to determine whether to do a SOC or ROC after inpatient discharge.
  2. State the steps for an unplanned Discharge.
  3. Discuss meaningful criteria for a SCIC to trigger an Other Follow-up.
