Session Description:
The new Home Care licensure rules, currently in draft, include significant changes in Emergency Preparedness. You will be presented with means for rolling the best of your current Emergency plans and Covid response into meeting the new rules. This session will provide guidance and take away tools for developing a robust Emergency Preparedness plan.
We will discuss - risk analysis, solid foundational steps to build on, implementation of the Emergency Plan, staff training, and methods to double check your plan on-going.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Attendees will be able to verbalize the key components of the CDPHE Emergency Preparedness draft rules.
  2. Attendees will be able to verbalize two means of determining emergency risks the location of the agency.
  3. Attendees will be able to discuss three keys to implementing a modified Emergency plan.
